Get to know Pauline better: “The social butterfly!”

Today, we have the pleasure of sitting down with 𝐏𝐚𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞, 𝐚 𝐝𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐭. Beyond her hours at nonzerosum, let’s delve into what makes her tick, from her ideal day off to her dream vacation destination.

Q: Pauline, describe your perfect day off.

A: Well, it starts with the sun shining! Weather plays a big role in my mood, so a sunny day is a must. I’d kick things off with a delicious breakfast – you can’t beat croissants with chocolate and a good cup of coffee. Then, I’d take my dog, Pippa, for a leisurely walk. After that, I love exploring Gent, finding a cozy terrace to catch up with friends. And of course, no day off is complete without spending time with family, preferably enjoying my grandmother’s cooking!

Q: What’s your favorite food?

A: Spaghetti Carbonara is my go-to dish. It’s simple, but oh so tasty!

Q: If you had to describe your life in three words, what would they be?

A: Dynamic, humor & positivity, and unexpected twists – that pretty much sums it up!

Q: Do you have a life motto?

A: I don’t have a specific motto, but I believe in doing everything with passion and enthusiasm. So maybe something like “do it with passion, or not at all!”

Q: If you could compare yourself to an animal, which one would it be and why?

A: My friends often say I’m like a Golden Retriever. I guess it’s because of my enthusiasm and how easily I make new connections. I’m a social butterfly!

Q: What’s your guilty pleasure?

A: Unfortunately, it’s probably spending too much money on clothes. Working at a multi-brand store on weekends doesn’t help – the temptation is real!

Q: What do you value most in a friendship?

A: Loyalty, humor, and honesty are key for me. I love being able to share both the silly and serious moments with my friends.

Q: Are there any family traditions you look forward to every year?

A: Definitely, the annual Easter egg hunt! It’s always a fun and festive time with the family.

Q: If you could live in any country, where would it be?

A: After studying in Barcelona during my Erasmus days, I fell in love with the city’s atmosphere, tapas, and architecture. So, for sure Barcelona!

Q: Finally, if I gave you a plane ticket to anywhere in the world right now, where would you go?

A: Bonaire, without a doubt. My cousin and her boyfriend recently opened a resort there, and I’d love to visit them and soak up the sun!
