Margaux started some time ago as a Legal Recruitment Consultant in our Brussels office. This way, Timothy has a partner along the way to further develop our French-speaking branch. Now that she knows Nonzerosum and our clients a little better, we asked her some questions. So you too can get to know Margaux better.
What makes your job challenging?
The work is very varied, and you really work towards results. The fact that you can celebrate your successes together with your colleagues – among whom there is an excellent atmosphere – is the icing on the cake.
How do you think you can make a difference at Nonzerosum?
A difficult question. Everyone at Nonzerosum has the same work dynamics. We are here to work, we want results, and we are good at what we do. When I look at myself, I think that my good mood and my bubbly personality make the difference. They are contagious.
What job would you have now if you were not working at Nonzerosum?
I think I would have followed the classic route and would have had a job as a lawyer or solicitor. But for now, I do not feel the need to go down that road at all.
What did you want to become when you were young?
Well, I have always done a lot of theatre. So my dream was to become an actress. But that is hard to achieve (laughs).

Work at home or at the office?
If I really had to choose, I would choose working at the office. But a healthy mix of both is ideal for me.
Cooking or takeaway?
I like to cook but on a Friday night I enjoy takeaway.
Netflix or a good book?
I am more of a film lover than a book lover. Netflix it is. Although I do try to read a good book now and then.
E-mail or phone?
Phone. Is goes faster.
Casual chic or dressed up?
Casual chic is my go-to style for every day. If I’m out with friends at a restaurant or going somewhere, I’m more dressed up.
